Returns and Exchanges
Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receipt of product. There will be a 15% restocking fee as well as the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. The goods must be unused, undamaged and in the original package. Refunds (minus the 15% restocking fee) will be issued when we have received back the inventory in unused and undamaged condition. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
For goods returned damaged or opened, there will be a 50% restocking fee and the remaining 50% will be issued in the form of store credit. There are no returns on pre-washed fabric.
To begin the return process please contact us at info@lindleygeneralstore.ca with your order number as the email subject. Please await further instructions and the return address.
It is recommended to purchase tracking when making returns as we are not responsible for lost packages.
If we have made an error with your order, we will pay the cost of return shipping. Please contact us within 7 days so that we may correct the problem for you as soon as possible.

You do not need prior experience!
This course was designed specifically for non-quilters. If you've never quilted, this course will walk you through each step in creating your own patchwork quilt.
You'll go from knowing nothing to knowing everything you need to make an actual quilt top!
Here's a list of supplies you'll need: Essential Quilting Supplies
Absolutely not! The One Stitch Community (which is optional) is hosted on our website. You can access it with the login you use to access your course. No Facebook or other social media sites required.
You'll learn each step of the quilt-making process:
- How to cut fabric accurately
- How to piece your quilt
- How to attach borders
In short, you'll learn how to become a quilter.
No! An expanded version of the Mary's Patchwork pattern is included in the course book. We've written the book around making that exact quilt.
You can choose to purchase a physical copy of the pattern if you wish, but it's not needed.
Not in this course. We want to focus on getting a quilt top completed.

After the sew-along, we'll be hosting a finishing course over at Meaford Pattern Press to help you turn your flimsy into a usable quilt.
This course includes lessons, not only on how to quilt your quilt top on a domestic machine, but also how to bind your quilt once you've finished quilting it!
