Make A Quilt With Us, One Stitch at a Time!

We've been in this industry for 10 years. And in those ten years, we've talked to a lot of people who love quilts but somehow think learning to quilt is akin to rocket science! there's been ladies who've come up to our booth at shows, stroke the quilt and say, "I could never make that!". Now I need you to hear me, if you have ever said this, it's simply not true. However, these comments give us incredible insight into the mind and perspective of a non-quilter. So while, I know quilting to be a learnable skill, I'm grateful that people share their doubts and insecurities about the craft with me.

I've learned over the years that there are two types of beginner, the one who thinks they can achieve the most complex quilt pattern imaginable and the one who is completely overwhelmed by the simplest one. We designed a course for the latter.

One Stitch at a Time Beginner Quilting Course

    One Stitch at a Time

The thing that people who are overwhelmed by the process often forget, is that a quilt is made through a series of tiny little steps and actions. To put it another way, you do not make a quilt. You make a small cut and then another. And then you sew a seam and then another, and so on. Until finally you have a completed quilt. This concept of breaking down the whole into manageable tasks is where the title of the course (and accompanying book) came from; you make a quilt one stitch at a time!

    A Look Inside the Course

We've broken the course up into 4 modules. With in each module, a lesson focuses on one task. It's also self-paced, though there is a community you can join and you can subscribe to weekly emails to help you stay on track if you need.

    What's Included:

    The Course

✅ Digital Course Book (which has the quilt pattern written into it)

✅ Private Online Community - optional

✅ Weekly emails to guide you through the process - optional

    What You'll Need To Get:

▶ Fabric or a Mary's Patchwork Quilt Kit

    ▶ Sewing Machine

▶ Rotary Cutter, Mat, and Acrylic Ruler

    ▶ Scissors

    ▶ Piecing Thread

You can find a complete list of supplies within the course.

    Who is this course for?

The not-yet-quilters. You're so beginner, you haven't begun yet. You are overwhelmed with everything about quilting and you want someone to hold your hand and show you step by step what you need to do to create a quilt top.

Are you ready to finally learn how to quilt? You've been thinking about it long enough, haven't you?! If you're not ready, what's holding you back? Let me know in the comments below!
