Faithful Forest Quilt Kits

When assembling fabrics for the Faithful Forest curated collection, we were looking to avoid minimalism. We love solid fabrics around here, go look at our quilt kits and you'll see. But Christmas deserves more. It's supposed to be busy and cheery. There should be a sense of fullness and enoughness.

The result is a warm and cozy floral explosion in traditional-ish Christmas colours, even if not traditional Christmas prints! You could say, this is cottage-core meets vintage Christmas!

And are you wondering what inspired the name Faithful Forest? So glad you asked. Well, it was the trees in the throw pattern. Lots of cute little trees. And the Christmas carol, Oh Come All Ye Faithful. Quite genius, eh? 

The first kit features Tree Rows by Quilty Love. The kit makes what she calls a medium throw. At 58" x 70", I'd describe it as a generous throw. Perfect for couch snuggles.

While few things are as quick as a Granny Cabin quilt, the Tree Rows quilt is what we'd call a moderately quick project. Using directional prints means a little care has to be taken when stitching the tree blocks. But over all, it's an easy and fun quilt to make! The pattern as is does not include instructions for directional prints. However, we've created supplemental cutting instructions that are available when you purchase the pattern from us.

The second kit in the Faithful Forest collection is a Gloria Table Runner. This will be our 3rd Gloria kit! For this one, we've done a scrappy solid background. It'll show up better in the physical sample, we just haven't got that made yet! But you can see the fabrics together if you keep scrolling.

The Gloria pattern includes small, hand-embroidered details. The pattern is recommended for an Advanced Beginner.

This kit includes all the fabrics for the top + binding plus some extras: pre-printed Super Solvy, embroidery floss, a floss bobbin, and an embroidery needle. The pattern is optional.
