Christmas Table Runner Quilt Kits

We're kicking off Christmas in July with not one, but three coordinating Christmas Quilt Kits and a 20% discount! Over the next week, we'll be featuring one of the three new quilt kits and first up is a table runner quilt kits featuring a new pattern from Meaford Pattern Press. 

The table runner is comprised of traditional patchwork blocks in the shape of Christmas Baubles and Christmas Trees. Each ornament block is then accented with a dainty, hand-embroidered bow.

Skill Level:

This pattern uses basic quilting techniques and would be suitable for the advanced beginner. The hand embroidery is a simple backstitch which, if you are new to embroidery, is one of the first stitches you learn because it is so easy to master.

Finished Size:

The table runner will be approximately 17½" by 44½" when finished.

The fabrics used in this table runner quilt kit are from the Tree Farm collection by Pam Buda for Marcus Fabrics.

Included in the kit are the following:

• Fabric to make the quilt top
• Fabric for binding
• Your choice of a printed or digital copy of the Gloria pattern

And supplies for hand-embroidering the bows:

• Pre-printed Sticky Fabri-Solvy for embroidering the bows. This is a stick-on, water-soluble stabilizer that we use instead of trying to trace the embroidery design with a pen. It's so much easier!
• Embroidery floss
• Embroidery needle

There's also the option to add matching backing fabric if you'd like!

Also available in the Tree Farm fabrics  are these Tree Skirt and Christmas Stocking kits. Both of these quilt kits feature patterns by Buttermilk Basin. The stockings were really fun to make, but more on that later!
