We've finally done it. We've made a quilt kit that is perfect for beginners! I know, it took long enough, but better late than never, right?! The quilt kit in question features the Memory Wall Pattern by Meaford Pattern Press (aka, moi). It's quick and easy to make, with big square blocks and straight seams throughout.
A Memory Wall Quilt Kit
The fabrics in this quilt kit are from the Golden Hour collection by FIGO Fabrics. The photos do not do them justice! They are somehow soft and delicate while also being intense and vibrant!
The quilt kit is for the throw size, which is approximately 62" x 77" (157cm x 195.5cm) when finished.
You'll love making this quilt because the Memory Wall pattern is quick and easy to piece. There is no seam matching which I know is often a concern for newer quilters.
Sample Quilt Deets
Our sample quilt was quilted by Laurie Moynes of Laurie's Quilting and Sales. The pantograph is called tortoise. I really love how this turned out. I think the panto suits the quilt perfectly.
And we used a fabric from the Golden Hour collection for the quilt backing, Sky in Peach to be exact.
