New Quilt Kits and Bundles

Our newest curated fabric bundle is now live, and it's a stunner, if we do say so ourselves!

Berry Harvest consists of rich colours in shades of red, purple, and blue. The inspiration for this bundle was, as the name suggests, a basket of mixed berries!

The bundle is based on one of our previous best-selling bundles that was previously made using Colorworks. We have reworked it now using colours from Robert Kaufman's KONA.

We have quilt kits, fat quarter bundles and half yard bundles available for the Berry Harvest. A coordinating pillowcase kit is also available, which is a new product type that we are very excited to offer you!

Berry Harvest Triangle Fade Quilt Kit

The quilt kit features the Triangle Fade quilt pattern by Lo and Behold Stitchery. While this isn't a beginner-friendly pattern, it is very enjoyable to make. I found it very relaxing piecing the triangles together. There's a rhythm to it that's a bit therapeutic!

What's included in the Quilt Kits?

Updated January 2026: Well, that's a great question. As we've evolved and we've been leaning more into the quilt kits side of the business, we've made some changes to how we offer quilt kits. The new default will be called a fabric kit and it will not include a pattern.

We're doing this for two reasons. The first reason is we've had a lot of customers ask us if they could purchase a kit without the pattern. It happens, sometimes you've already bought the pattern and a kit designed for that pattern pops into your view, and you don't want to buy the pattern again, but you do want that kit. So there's the first reason, and second, we have a new kit coming in February 2026 that features the Triangle Fade pattern. So that's now two kits with the same pattern. And some of the people who bought this one, Berry Harvest that is, will also want the new one (it's called Horizon in case you were wondering!).

But, we're still making it possible to purchase a quilt kit (aka Fabric Kit + Pattern). You'll see an option on every Fabric Kit page to bundle the fabric kit and the pattern. It'll even give you a discount on the pattern for buying both at the same time! Below, you can see a chart of what's in a fabric kit, versus what's in a quilt kit.

Fat Quarter and Half Yard Bundles

If you're not looking for a quilt kit right now, Berry Harvest is available in both a Fat Quarter bundle and a Half Yard bundle. Each bundle consists of 15 fabrics from the KONA Solids line.

Quilter-friendly Pillowcase Kits

For the first time, we're offering Pillowcase Kits featuring our new pillowcase pattern. You may recall that our pillowcase pattern features an envelope-style back so that your pillow stays securely in the case and the case doesn't slide off during the night! If this feature wasn't enough, the top of these pillowcases uses Art Gallery Fabrics, which are super soft and silky, making them great for those of us with sensory issues!

The pillowcase pattern is cut with a rotary cutter, ruler, and mat just like you would a quilt. It's sewn with French seams for a perfect finish inside and out. This means you don't need a serger or seam binding!

The pillowcase kits are designed to coordinate with the Berry Harvest quilt kits and bundles. The top fabric is a print from Art Gallery called Flower Fields. It's in the loveliest shade of navy. It is almost dusty or muted, but not dull, if that makes sense! The accent strip is a red KONA and the back is a navy KONA.

Updated January 2026: Like with the quilt kits, we've also changed how we offer sewing kits, which includes our pillowcase kits and scrunchy kits. The default option now, called a Fabric Kit, does not include a copy of the pattern. The Ida's Pillowcase Sewing Pattern is available for purchase separately, in both pdf and paper.
