Knitting Needle Conversion Chart

Have you ever had a knitting pattern that called for knitting needles in a size format you were unfamiliar with? That's because there are several different methods of labeling knitting needles. Metric, US and UK. Metric just refers to the diameter of the needle in millimetres, whereas the US and UK have assigned either a number or a letter to all of the sizes.

This handy chart will help you to convert knitting needle sizes from metric to UK or US or vice versa!

You can find a downloadable/printer-friendly version of this chart here.
